32. Put an assortment of cups with unattached matching tops on the
floor and allow the make matches.
33. Make roads of tape throughout the house for his small cars to
ride on. Allow them to set up the roadside scenery.

35. Build a tent together chairs, tables, blankets, and pillows
from the sofa.
36. Let them wash a few plastic dishes.
37. Casually but regularly go through alphabet flash cards.
38. Give them a big box.
39. Experiment with a magnet and small metal objects.
40. Color Bingo: Make Bingo cards with a color in each square. Call
out the color and have your child place a cheerio on that square.
41. Place small objects in a bowl. Several
of each: buttons, beads, barettes, whatever other small objects
you have at home. Glue one of each object to an index card. Have
your child add the other matching objects to the card that they
belong.
42. Into a 2-liter soda bottle, insert several small I-Spy type
items (Barbie shoe, key, dime, marble, Cootie leg, Lego brick, paper
clip, etc.) Make an I spy list, and tape it (folded shut) to the
side of the bottle. Fill the bottle half to three-fourths full with
bird seed. The kids have to turn the bottle to find the items.

44. Spray shaving cream onto the kitchen counter and allow to draw
letters or numbers into the shaving cream.
45. Make some fish out of construction paper. Put paperclips on
them. Make a fishing pole with a stick, string & magnet.
46. Let them wash the windows with a squirt bottle of water and
a dishtowel.
47. Sit them at the table or on the floor with a big bowl full of
a variety of dried beans. Provide several bowls and cups on the
side. Give your preschooler a serving spoon or "scooper"
of any type and allow them to serve and re-serve.
48. Purchase a large plastic bin with a lid that is just big enough
for your preschooler to sit in and several pounds of pinto beans.
Set them in it with some nesting/stacking cups and let them have
a BLAST!
49. Practice counting with dancing.
50. Blow bubbles outside.

Flip through it occasionally and allow your child to talk as you
look on.
